Dr. Gus Horsey graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry and went on to complete his Post-Doctorate Master of Science degree and Certificate in Orthodontics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Horsey is a faculty member at the Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program and has lectured nationally on several topics in orthodontics and digital technology.

He is committed to excellence in patient care and enhancing his patients’ oral health, esthetics, and function as a Board-Certified Orthodontist. Dr. Horsey stays active in local and national dental organizations and volunteers in the community.

In his free time, Dr. Horsey enjoys traveling and outdoor adventures with his wife Kim.

Dr. Matthew Pastewait graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where he received his DMD and then graduated from UNC Adams School of Dentistry for Orthodontics. Dr. Pastewait considers becoming a dentist and then an orthodontist as his top accomplishments in life.
His areas of expertise are orthodontics, chemistry and mechanical knowledge. He is also an excellent artist who loves drawing!

In his free time, Dr. Pastewait enjoys running and biking.

With over two decades of dedicated service in the field of dentistry, Dr. Leo Petrella is a seasoned professional committed to enhancing oral health and delivering exceptional care. Holding a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and boasting a Certificate in Orthodontics, he brings a wealth of expertise to the world of dentistry.

Dr. Leo Petrella began his career in dentistry as a dentist in Brazil, where he later owned a private practice that focused on a wide range of dental services including restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, orthodontics, implants and oral surgery. Dr. Leo Petrella also held the distinguished title as Lead Orthodontist at Mediterraneo Odontologia Moderna, Sao Bernardo do Campo, Sao Paulo, Brazil from 2006 to 2021.

Dr. Leo Petrella enjoys spending quality time with family, exploring new destinations through travel, indulging in movies, and following various sports, including soccer, NFL, NBA, and NASCAR racing.

Dr Leo Petrella is also fluent in multiple languages, including: Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
