Dr. Horsey is committed to excellence in patient care and enhancing his patients’ oral health, esthetics, and function as a board-certified orthodontist.

Dr. Horsey is also a faculty member at the Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program and has lectured nationally on orthodontics.

iTero Scanner

At Horsey Orthodontics, we’ve replaced the outdated and messy impression process with fully digital scans using the iTero digital imaging system.

3D Aligner Printing

When the iTero scanner is used in conjunction with our 3D printer, we are able to produce models of your teeth that lead to creating more precise aligners.

Cone-Beam X-Rays

Cone Beam X-rays, also known as Cone Beam Computed Tomography, is a form of 3D imaging that goes above and beyond standard X-rays or dental pictures.

I started at Horsey Orthodontics in Short Pump just shy of 10 years ago during my senior year of high school after a recommendation from my dentist to move forward with braces. Dr. Horsey... and his team made every appointment, personable, memorable and always had the coolest giveaways that I was able to join from time to time.10 years later and my own personal carelessness during College to wear my retainer post procedure, I find my adult self back on the market for Invisalign with no doubt in my mind that I would return to the awesome care of Dr. Horsey’s team.I had a recent appointment this week with Andrea at the Midlothian location at my care to assist with my pre- Invisalign treatment including the installation of some spacers.To their and my surprise, I may just have won the Guinness book of world records for little to no space in between my teeth making it more challenging to fit my spacers in.Throughout my procedure, Andrea was personable, friendly and very helpful, despite the difficulties my little chompers may have brought.She ensured I was comfortable the entire procedure and celebrated my follow up appointment when we were able to install the spacers and get my prep work done to send my scans in for the quad helix to be created.Overall great experience and I’m so grateful to be back in the care of the Horsey family.100% recommend both their Midlothian and Short Pump locations. However, Dr. Horsey was recommended by my previous... orthodontist and I’m so glad! Everyone was extremely nice and professional. I went in to have my permanent retainer fixed and they were not only quick but thorough with their assessment of the retainer. Thy fixed the bond to hold the retainer in place and Dr. Horsey checked in to make sure everything went well. I love Dr. Horsey’s Office. I had braces when I was a child, but this orthodontist is way different. They actually care about the patients... and you’re even able to see the same person... each appointment. Dr. Horsey even has activities for his patients to keep up the engagement. In addition, my smile is already starting to look amazing. I honestly thought it couldn’t be fixed because my underbite was just that bad.. Prior to visiting Dr. Horsey’s office I went to the orthodontist that I visited as a child and was advised I would need surgery for my jaw. However, Dr. Horsey came up with a plan that did not include surgery and my smile is doing great. If you’re looking for an orthodontist I would highly suggest coming to Dr. Horsey because him and his team are amazing!!read more
